At 810 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Track Rock, or near
Blairsville, moving southwest at 5 mph.

HAZARD…40 to 50 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
ground lightning.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Blairsville, Young Harris, Owltown, Vogel State Park, Brasstown Bald,
Track Rock, and Low Gap Shelter.

San Francisco high tide is 6.66 ft at 12:38 AM Friday.

Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam affecting Johnson, Franklin and Logan Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 355.5 feet, the river remains in its banks, but access to Okane Island may be cut off. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 355.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 355.7 feet this afternoon, then fluctuate between 355.2 to 355.7 feet until further notice.
