Warning for the following rivers in Minnesota…

Cedar River near Lansing affecting Mower County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Cedar River near Lansing.

* WHEN…From this evening to early Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 21.2 feet, Water reaches the bottom of the County
Road 2 Bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 18.1 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:30 PM CDT Thursday was 18.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.6
feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
early Saturday morning.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
