Sabine River Near Gladewater affecting Gregg, Upshur and Smith
Counties.

For the Sabine River…including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater,
Longview, Beckville, Logansport…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Sabine River near Gladewater.

* WHEN…Until Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 29.0 feet, Expect lowland flooding to continue with
oil field operations curtailed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 27.6 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:15 PM CDT Thursday was 29.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tomorrow evening and continue falling to 18.8 feet
Tuesday evening.
– Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
28.0 feet on 03/01/1951.
