Flood Watch issued June 27 at 5:23AM MDT until June 27 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

* WHAT…Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE…South Central Mountains, including Ruidoso and the burn
scars surrounding the village.

* WHEN…From noon MDT today through this evening.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings and village streets may be flooded. Storm drains and
ditches may become clogged with debris.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Slow-moving thunderstorms with rainfall rates up to 2 inches
per hour will create a high risk for burn scar flash
flooding.
