The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Southeastern Blount County in central Alabama…
St. Clair County in central Alabama…

* Until 1245 AM CDT.

* At 940 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Radar.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Pell City, Leeds, Moody, Oneonta, Springville, Odenville,
Margaret, Argo, Ashville, Riverside, Vincent, Ragland, Locust
Fork, Allgood, Fairview, Branchville, Bald Rock, Harrisburg,
Inland Lake and Logan Martin Lake.

Notice of Availability: Draft Programmatic Agreement and Request for Public Comments Annapolis City Dock Flood Mitigation Undertaking PHILADELPHIA-- The City of Annapolis, Maryland has applied through the Maryland Department of Emergency Management to the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) and Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) Grant Program for a flood resiliency and stormwater improvement undertaking in the downtown Annapolis area in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The proposed undertaking consists of four separate, yet connected projects (HMGP-4491-0043-MD, LPDM-PJ-03-MD-2023-002, HMGP-4261-0013-MD, LPDM-PJ-03-MD-2024-003) that involve the design and construction of a comprehensive stormwater and flood mitigation system at the City Dock
