Flood Advisory issued June 28 at 4:29PM EDT until June 28 at 6:30PM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of northeast Florida, including the following
counties, Duval and St. Johns.

* WHEN…Until 630 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 428 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic
Beach, Neptune Beach, San Pablo and Palm Valley.
