Flood Advisory issued June 28 at 7:34AM CDT until June 28 at 10:45AM CDT by NWS Memphis TN

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Portions of North Mississippi, including the following
counties, Benton and Marshall and West Tennessee, including the
following counties, Fayette and Hardeman.

* WHEN…Until 1045 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 734 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Lamar, Lagrange, Michigan City, Slayden, Moscow, Williston,
Grand Junction, La Grange, Hickory Valley, Forty Five,
Pattersonville, Early Grove, Hudsonville, Laconia and Ghost
River State Natural Area.
