Big Sioux River Near Florence affecting Grant County.

.For sites with a river forecast, the forecast includes
precipitation through the next 24 hours. Any future precipitation
could affect the forecasts.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring.

* WHERE…Big Sioux River near Florence.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 8.5 feet, The water reaches the bottom of the bridge
1 mile east and 1 1/2 mile north of the gauge

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 8.6 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 PM CDT Friday was 9.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Florida, including the following county, Flagler. * WHEN...Until 630 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 534 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding
