Flood Warning issued June 29 at 1:39AM CDT until June 29 at 10:00AM CDT by NWS Aberdeen SD

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of northeast South Dakota, including the
following county, Deuel.

* WHEN…Until 1000 AM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 136 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the warned area. Between 3 and 7 inches are
estimated to have fallen.
– Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected through the overnight hours.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Clear Lake, Gary, Altamont, Bemis, Lake Alice and Moritz.
