Flood Warning issued June 29 at 8:15AM CDT until June 29 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Aberdeen SD

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…A portion of northeast South Dakota, including the
following counties, Deuel and Hamlin.

* WHEN…Until 700 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 813 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported 465th Ave 2
miles north of Estelline was under water.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Clear Lake, Estelline, Castlewood, Lake Poinsett, Hayti, Lake
Norden, Toronto, Astoria, Brandt, Claremont Colony, Poinsett
Colony, Dempster, Stone Bridge, Lake Albert and Lake Cochrane
Rec Area.

At 525 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Lehigh Acres, moving north at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Fort Myers Shores, North Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, Alva, East Dunbar, Suncoast Estates, Charleston Park, Fort Myers, Tice, Olga, Southwest Florida Airport, Gateway, and Buckingham.
