Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 28 at 9:33PM CDT until June 28 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN

At 933 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Holdingford,
or 14 miles southwest of Little Falls, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include…
Little Falls, St. Anthony, Albany, Royalton, Holdingford,
Freeport, Upsala, Bowlus, Rice, Sobieski, Elmdale, Opole, St
Wendel, St. Stephen and Little Falls Airport.

There is very slight potential (10% chance) for thunderstorms overnight early Monday morning, but the risk is greatest Monday afternoon (25% chance) and possibly again Tuesday afternoon. The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Fire Weather Watch for lightning on dry fuels, which is in effect from Monday morning through Monday evening. * Affected Area...Fire Zone 213 Eastern Portion of Shasta/Trinity NF, Fire Zone 214 Burney Basin and Northeast Plateau in Shasta County Including Northwest Lassen NF north of Lassen NP, Fire Zone 263 Southeast Edge Shasta-Trinity NF and Western Portions of Tehama-Glenn Unit and Fire Zone 279 Eastern Mendocino NF. * Thunderstorms...Isolated to scattered coverage of a mix of wet and dry thunderstorms expected. Lightning strikes may also occur outside of main precipitation cores.
