Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2   Meteorological Summary: Showers and embedded thunderstorms ongoing along the Florida Panhandle and Big Bend will set the stage for another active summer weather day. Numerous to widespread showers and thunderstorms develop through the afternoon hours, with help from the daily sea breeze and daytime heating (50-80% chance of rain). Greatest coverage of shower and thunderstorm activity for the Florida Panhandle and portions of the Central Florida Peninsula (70-90% chance of rain). Any strong to severe thunderstorm this afternoon will be capable of producing locally damaging wind gusts
