Flood Advisory issued June 29 at 11:37PM CDT until June 30 at 2:45AM CDT by NWS Norman OK

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of northern Oklahoma, including the following
county, Kay.

* WHEN…Until 245 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1136 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Ponca City, Blackwell, Braman, Kildare, Chilocco, Nardin,
southwestern Kaw Lake, Peckham and Blackwell Lake.
