Flood Warning issued June 29 at 8:31PM EDT until June 29 at 9:00PM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following
counties, Brantley and Pierce.

* WHEN…Until 900 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…It will take several hours for all the water from these
storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 831 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain
have fallen.
– This includes the following streams and drainages…
Mill Creek, Dix Branch, Satilla River and Alabaha River.
Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
mainly rural areas of West Central Brantley and Southeastern
Pierce Counties
