The National Weather Service in El Paso has issued a

* Dust Storm Warning for…
South central Grant County in southwestern New Mexico…
West central Luna County in southwestern New Mexico…
West central Hidalgo County in southwestern New Mexico…

* Until 1030 PM MDT.

* At 832 PM MDT, an area of blowing dust was over Lordsburg Playa
along I-10.

HAZARD…Near zero visibility with strong winds up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Department of Transportation Officials.

IMPACT…Dangerous life-threatening travel.

* This includes Interstate 10 in New Mexico between mile markers 1
and 55.

Locations impacted include…
Lordsburg, Steins, Cotton City, Road Forks, Separ, Lordsburg Playa,
Pyramid Mountains, Shakespeare, and Pitchfork Ranch.
