Flood Warning issued July 1 at 2:33AM EDT until July 1 at 5:30AM EDT by NWS State College PA

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
counties, Lancaster and Lebanon.

* WHEN…Until 530 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. It
will take several hours for all the water from these storms to
work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 231 AM EDT, Local law enforcement continue to report water
rescues in the warned area. Flooding is ongoing. Between 4
and 6 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional light rainfall is possible in the warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Lancaster, Ephrata, Elizabethtown, Columbia, Lititz,
Millersville, Willow Street, Mount Joy, Manheim, East
Petersburg, Cornwall, Akron, Leola, Salunga-Landisville,
Denver, Maytown, Reamstown, Rothsville, Mountville and
Marietta.

At 1225 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 35 miles north of Sarles to 8 miles northeast of Hansboro to near Belcourt. Movement was southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hansboro and Amourdale.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 4 at 12:24AM CDT until July 4 at 1:15AM CDT by NWS Bismarck ND

At 1223 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Van Hook Park, or 28 miles south of Stanley, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... New Town, Parshall, Plaza, Makoti, Ryder, Douglas, Van Hook Park, Pouch Point Recreation Area, Crow Flies High State Recreation Area, Parshall Bay Recreation Area, and Fort Berthold.
