At 524 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles west of Sebring, moving north at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Bowling Green, Zolfo Springs, Brownville, Avon Park, Sebring Shores,
Frostproof, Lake Josephine, Fort Meade, Avon Park Executive Airport,
Wauchula, Gardner, Sebring, Crewsville, and Sweetwater.

* WHAT...Southwest winds 10 to 20 kt and seas 4 to 6 feet. * WHERE...In Massachusetts coastal waters, Coastal Waters extending out to 25 nm South of Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket. In Rhode Island coastal waters, Coastal Waters from Montauk NY to Marthas Vineyard extending out to 20 nm South of Block Island. * WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

* WHAT...Southwest winds 10 to 15 kt and seas 2 to 4 feet. * WHERE...Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary and Coastal waters from Provincetown MA to Chatham MA to Nantucket MA out 20 nm. * WHEN...Until 9 AM EDT this morning. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

Marine Weather Statement issued July 2 at 1:50AM EDT by NWS Upton NY

The areas affected include... Sandy Hook NJ to Montauk Point out 40 NM... At 149 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 25 knots. These thunderstorms was located 26 nm southwest of Buoy 44017, moving northeast at 25 knots. These thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
