Flash Flood Warning issued July 1 at 11:49PM EDT until July 2 at 2:45AM EDT by NWS Blacksburg VA

At 1149 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain has exited
the area, leaving only intermittent light rainfall. However, a
threat of flooding remains due to between 2.5 and 4 inches of rain
that fell earlier this evening, especially in small creeks and
streams that remain swollen and swift-flowing.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Foscoe…

This includes the following streams and drainages…
Darnell Creek, Dutch Creek, Cove Creek, Church Branch, Dugger
Creek, Beaver Creek, Brushy Fork, Craborchard Creek, Elk Creek and
Clear Branch.
