Flash Flood Warning issued July 2 at 1:20AM CDT until July 2 at 3:00AM CDT by NWS Midland/Odessa TX

At 120 AM CDT /1220 AM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3.5
inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Radar.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Kent, Fort Davis, Balmorhea, Balmorhea State Park, McDonald
Observatory, Balmorhea Lake, Davis Mountains State Park, Saragosa,
Bloys Camp, Buffalo Trail Scout Camp, Black Mountain, Toyahvale,
Star Mountain and Indian Lodge.
