Flood Advisory issued July 2 at 4:53PM EDT until July 2 at 6:00PM EDT by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.

* WHERE…A portion of southwest Florida, including the following
county, Lee.

* WHEN…Until 600 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 453 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
mainly rural areas of Lee County
