Flood Advisory issued July 2 at 9:17AM EDT until July 2 at 12:15PM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of central North Carolina, including the
following counties, Davidson, Guilford and far southeastern
Forsyth.

* WHEN…Until 1215 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 915 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Greensboro, High Point, Thomasville, Jamestown and Oak Hollow
Marina.
