Flood Warning issued July 2 at 7:54AM EDT until July 2 at 1:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…A portion of central Virginia, including the following
county, Albemarle and City of Charlottesville.

* WHEN…Until 100 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from
earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and
may not be passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing
water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 754 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area.
