possible.
* WHERE…A portion of Southeast Arizona, including the following
areas, Baboquivari Mountains, Catalina and Rincon Mountains,
Dragoon and Mule and Huachuca and Santa Rita Mountains, Tohono
O’odham Nation, Tucson Metro Area, Upper San Pedro River Valley
and Upper Santa Cruz River Valley/Altar Valley.
* WHEN…From 11 AM MST this morning through this evening.
* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Low-water crossings may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– The combination of of deeper atmospheric moisture moving into
Southeast Arizona from the south and an approaching weather
system will result in widespread showers and thunderstorms.
These storms will be capable of producing localized heavy
rainfall in excess of an inch that can result in flash
flooding of normally dry washes, roadway
dips and other low-lying areas.
