Special Weather Statement issued July 1 at 10:35PM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC

At 1032 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms with very
heavy rain from north Durham east to Oxford, Henderson, and near
Warrentton, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Rainfall up to 2 inches in 30 minutes, wind gusts up to 40
mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Henderson, Oxford, Creedmoor, Warrenton, Butner, Franklinton,
Norlina, Kittrell, Rougemont, and Stem.
