At 1040 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Jordans Point, or near Hopewell, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding
possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near…
Charles City around 1050 PM EDT.
Ruthville and Adkins Store around 1055 PM EDT.
Holdcroft around 1105 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Taylors Corner,
Chickahominy Shore, Wayside, Birchett Estate, Brandon, Mountcastle,
Jordan Point Country Club, Petersburg National Battlefield, New
Bohemia, and Colonial Downs.
