Fire Weather Watch issued July 2 at 2:02PM MDT until July 4 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Salt Lake City UT

The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from Friday afternoon through Friday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA…Fire Weather Zone 492 Central Utah West
Desert, Fire Weather Zone 495 Color Country West Desert, Fire
Weather Zone 497 Mojave Desert and Fire Weather Zone 498 Grand
Staircase.

* WINDS…Southwest winds around 15-25 mph with gusts to 30-35
mph are likely to develop Friday afternoon across much of
southwestern and south-central Utah.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…A drier air mass moving into southern Utah
will result in relative humidity falling to the 10 to 15 percent
range across a wide swath of southwestern and south-central Utah.

* IMPACTS…Critical fire weather conditions are expected. Any
new fire starts or existing fires may spread rapidly.
