Flood Advisory issued July 2 at 7:18PM MST until July 2 at 10:30PM MST by NWS Phoenix AZ

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Portions of south central and southeast Arizona, including
the following counties, in south central Arizona, Maricopa. In
southeast Arizona, Pinal.

* WHEN…Until 1030 PM MST.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 718 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
– This includes the following streams and drainages…
Queen Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Mesa, Gilbert, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley and Magma.
