Flash Flood Watch issued July 3 at 4:49PM MDT until July 4 at 2:00PM MDT by NWS Boise ID

* WHAT…Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE…A portion of southwest Idaho, including the following
areas, Boise Mountains and West Central Mountains. This area
includes the Wapiti Burn Scar along Idaho state highway 21.

* WHEN…From Friday morning through Friday mid-afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Heavy rainfall could trigger flash flooding or debris
flows in and near recent wildfire burn scars.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– National Weather Service Meteorologists are forecasting heavy
rainfall over the burn scar, which may lead to flash flooding
and debris flows.
