At 1140 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms
pushing east across the Tularosa Basin. Movement was east at 35 mph.
These storms are preceded by an outflow boundary producing 55 mph
wind gusts and blowing dust.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Alamogordo, Bent, Burro Flats, High Rolls, La Luz, Holloman Air Force
Base, Mountain Park, Upper Nogal Canyon, Lower Nogal Canyon, Boles
Acres, Karr Canyon, Oliver Lee State Park, Laborcita Canyon, San
Patricio, Alamorosa, and Three Rivers Petroglyph Site.
