Special Weather Statement issued July 4 at 12:24AM CDT by NWS Grand Forks ND

At 1224 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 11 miles northwest of Hannah to 8 miles north
of Walhalla to near Mattson. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Cavalier, Walhalla, Hallock, Pembina, Neche, Lancaster, and St.
Vincent.

This includes Interstate 29 between mile markers 196 and 217.
