Locally higher gusts up to 60 -70 mph over higher terrain. * WHERE...Del Norte County, Humboldt Interior, and Southwestern Humboldt. * WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 10 PM PST this evening. * IMPACTS...Wind gusts will be particularly strong along windward ridges and exposed coastal headlands. There is an increased risk of tree branches and other debris on roadways.

* WHAT...Large waves and hazardous surf conditions. Breakers up to 25 to 30 feet. * WHERE...North and Central Coast of Oregon, and South Washington Coast. * WHEN...Until 10 PM PST Monday. * IMPACTS...Destructive waves may wash over beaches, jetties, and other structures unexpectedly. People can be swept off rocks and jetties and drown while observing high surf. Minor beach erosion may damage coastal properties and buildings. Higher than normal water run-up is expected on beaches and low- lying shoreline. Enhanced possibility for sneaker waves.

For the High Surf Warning, dangerously large breaking waves of 25 to 33 feet. * WHERE...The beaches and shorelines of Curry, Coos, and Douglas counties. * WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 10 PM PST this evening. For the High Surf Warning, from 10 PM this evening to 4 AM PST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Extremely large breaking waves will create very hazardous conditions along beaches and area shorelines. Waves will inundate beaches and surge into normally dry areas. Infrastructure damage and significant beach erosion can be expected.

* WHAT...Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, primarily across southern Lake, Geauga, western Ashtabula, northern Trumbull, and northeastern Portage Counties. Lighter accumulations are expected elsewhere in the advisory areas. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Ohio. * WHEN...Until 10 PM EST this evening. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A narrow band of heavier snow will drift across the area this morning with snowfall rates up to one half inch per hour. If this band is persistent in one area, locally higher amounts are possible.
