Areas of fog have developed across portions of South Texas tonight. Expect visibilities generally 1 mile or less with a few locations seeing visibilities 1/4 mile or less at times. Most of the fog will be near the bays and barrier islands. Use caution if traveling as visibility may change rapidly in a short amount of time. Use low beam headlights and leave extra distance between your vehicle and others on the road.

Total snow accumulations up to 4 inches possible. * WHERE...Portions of northeast Louisiana and central, east central, south central, southeast, southwest, and west central Mississippi. * WHEN...From late Monday night through Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Due to the very cold temperatures well below freezing, treacherous road conditions will develop where heavy snow accumulates. Travel impacts will likely continue well beyond the end of the snow.
