The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Quality Advisory for Monday June 2, for elevated levels of fine particulates (PM2.5) produced from wildfires in Canada. Pollutants are expected to be in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range. The alert is in effect for the following Michigan Counties, Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc Island, Eastern Mackinac, Western Mackinac, Southeast Chippewa, Central Chippewa, and Western Chippewa.
