* WHAT...West winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph. * WHERE...All of southeast New Mexico and southwest and western Texas. * WHEN...Until 8 PM MST /9 PM CST/ this evening. * IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles like campers, vans, and tractor trailers. Damaging winds may topple a few trees and possibly knock out some power lines. Damage to weaker structures is also possible. Severe turbulence near the mountains will be hazardous for low flying light aircraft.

Areas of fog reducing visibilities to under a mile will continue to cover inland portions of eastern NC through early this morning. Locally dense patches of visibility a half mile or less are possible at times. If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
