At 1137 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Evangeline to near Hayes to near Sweet Lake. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hacketts Corner, Gueydan, Wright, Hayes, Evangeline, Jennings, Roanoke, Egan, Florence Landing, Crowley, Lowry, Sweet Lake, Lyons Point, Riceville, Bell City, Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge, Lake Arthur, Estherwood, Indian Bayou, and Rayne. This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 58 and 91.
