The combination of dry fuels, southerly winds gusting to between 15 and 25 mph, and relative humidity bottoming out in the 19 to 29 percent range will result in an increased risk of wildfires through this evening. Showers moving into the area after sunset will quickly ease this concern. Remember that Kentucky regulations make it illegal to burn between the hours of 6 AM and 6 PM EDT within 150 feet of any woodland or brushland during the Spring Forest Fire Hazard Season.
