* WHAT...A moderate risk of sneaker waves is expected. * WHERE...The beaches and shorelines of Curry, Coos, and Douglas counties. * WHEN...From Monday evening through Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Sneaker waves can run up significantly farther on beaches than normal, including over rocks and jetties. These waves can suddenly knock people off of their feet and quickly pull them into the cold ocean waters, resulting in serious injury or death. Additional accumulations of a coating to two inches. * WHERE...McKean and Warren Counties. * WHEN...Until 8 PM EST this evening. * IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.
