For MINOR impacts from snow, expect a few inconveniences to normal activities. Use caution while driving. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute, especially over higher passes.

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 6 to 9 feet with dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...Ventura County Beaches. * WHEN...From 4 AM Tuesday to 4 AM PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats near shore. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is a brief lull in the surf on Wednesday, but the surf builds again into Thursday. This High Surf Advisory will likely need to be extended.
