* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall. * WHERE...The island of Kauai in Kauai County. * WHEN...Until 200 AM HST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1101 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rain over windward Kauai, with the heaviest rain falling from Lihue northward to Anahola. Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lihue, Kapaa, Kilauea, Wailua Homesteads, Wailua, Anahola, North Fork Wailua Trails, Moloaa, Wailua River State Park, Kealia, Hanamaulu, Puhi and Kalihiwai.

It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
