Lake effect snow bands, some with brief whiteout conditions in drifting and blowing snow will continue to slowly diminish this morning through 7 AM EST. In some of the heavier snow bands, snowfall rates will briefly be up to a half inch an hour. If driving, be prepared for rapid changes in visibility and for drifting snow across the roads and drive accordingly.
