* WHAT...Southeast winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt and seas 6 to 11 ft expected. * WHERE...Coastal Waters from San Mateo Point to the Mexican Border and out to 30 nm and Waters from San Mateo Point to the Mexican Border Extending 30 to 60 nm out including San Clemente Island. * WHEN...Until 6 PM PDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is a slight chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and early evening. Any thunderstorm can produce gusty, erratic winds, lightning, hail, reduced visibility in heavy rain.

Special Weather Statement issued January 26 at 2:14AM EST by NWS Marquette MI

Several narrow bands of heavy snow showers will continue to move across northern Schoolcraft County early this morning through 8 AM EST. These snow showers will produce a quick 1 to 2 inches of snowfall and visibility at times will drop to around one-quarter of a mile. Roads will rapidly become snow covered and slippery. Slow down and use caution if traveling this morning and be prepared for rapid changes in visibilities.
