Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Elkhead and Park Mountains. * WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 5 PM MST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.

Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. Vail Pass will become snow and ice packed making driving difficult especially heading up to the summit.

There is around a 10% chance of two tenths of an inch of ice near Parkdale and higher elevations near Blowdown Ridge.
