* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches possible. * WHERE...A portion of northern Indiana. * WHEN...From Sunday evening through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow totals will vary greatly from south to north, especially across Grant, Blackford, and Jay counties. Greatest snow totals are favored in the southern portion of these counties.

Beach Hazards Statement issued December 10 at 2:25AM PST until December 10 at 4:00PM PST by NWS Medford OR

* WHAT...A moderate risk of sneaker waves is expected. * WHERE...The beaches and shorelines of Curry, Coos, and Douglas counties. * WHEN...From Monday evening through Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Sneaker waves can run up significantly farther on beaches than normal, including over rocks and jetties. These waves can suddenly knock people off of their feet and quickly pull them into the cold ocean waters, resulting in serious injury or death. * WHAT...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and hazardous seas around 13 feet. For the Small Craft Advisory, north winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt and seas 8 to 12 feet expected. * WHERE...Cape Mendocino to Pt Arena 10 to 60 nm. * WHEN...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, until 3 AM PST early this morning. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 3 PM PST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or cause damage to vessels.
