Special Weather Statement issued December 12 at 2:33PM MST by NWS Great Falls MT

Recent surface and webcams observations indicate a mix of dense fog and very low clouds in the Cut Bank area this afternoon. Those traveling in and around the Cut Bank area should expect visibility to vary widely over short distances through at least the next couple hours. Given the below freezing temperatures, elevated surfaces such as bridges may be slick. Although this area of low clouds and fog is shrinking this afternoon, it may begin to expand after sunset this evening. If you encounter fog, be sure to have your low-beam headlights on and slow down.
