* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 10 feet. * WHERE...North facing reefs of Pohnpei and Kosrae. * WHEN...Until 3 PM ChST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A long-period northerly swell is creating large surf along north facing reefs. Surf may briefly drop below 9 feet at times but is expected to build again as another round of north swell moves across the region.

There is increasing likelihood that a much stronger storm will impact the West Coast and Western Interior Thursday into Friday. An area of arctic high pressure will settle across the region on Monday and Tuesday. This system will allow the coldest air of the season so far across Central Indiana. Low temperatures on Monday morning will fall below zero at many locations. This will occur again on Tuesday morning.
