* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 10 feet. * WHERE...North facing reefs of Pohnpei and Kosrae. * WHEN...Until 3 PM ChST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A long-period northerly swell is creating large surf along north facing reefs. Surf may briefly drop below 9 feet at times but is expected to build again as another round of north swell moves across the region.
