West winds in the 25 to 35 mph range, with gusts up to 50 mph, are expected on the eastern Arctic Coast on Saturday and Sunday. There will be new falling snow moving onshore from the north during this same time frame. During the periods of strongest west winds, blowing and drifting snow could result in visibility restrictions down to about 1 mile, especially when stronger winds combine with falling snow.
