Winds gusting as high as 30 mph. * WHERE...Beartooth Foothills, Livingston Area, and Northern Park. * WHEN...Until 11 PM MST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Expect snow packed and slippery roads with limited visibility at times. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Expect a break in the snow by this evening, with another round of heavier snow Saturday. There is a slight chance for freezing drizzle tonight into tomorrow morning which may impact morning travels.

Mountain recreation will be impacted. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Significantly less accumulations can be expected for the north and northeast facing aspects of the Beartooth/Absaroka mountains. An additional period of snow is possible on Saturday.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of western North Carolina, including the following counties, Burke and Caldwell. * WHEN...Until 700 PM EST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 241 PM EST, Runoff continued throughout the Johns River watershed which includes Wilson Creek. At 242 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17 miles southeast of Huntington, or 24 miles east of Diboll, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... San Augustine, Pineland, Macune, Rosevine, Zavalla, Chireno, Broaddus, Chinaquapin, Denning, Bronson, McElroy, Dolan and Shawnee.

Ice accumulations of a light glaze. * WHERE...Susitna Valley, mainly from Talkeetna and south. * WHEN...Until noon AKST Friday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. Water on untreated surfaces is expected to refreeze. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain, freezing rain (mainly Talkeetna and south) across the Susitna Valley is expected to gradually diminish this evening. However, once the sun sets and temperatures dip below freezing, any precipitation falling onto untreated surfaces and any water that remains is expected to freeze or refreeze.

A weather system moving south into northern New Mexico tonight will produce an area of light snow over parts of the area through Thanksgiving morning. Snowfall accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are likely along I-25 between Las Vegas and Santa Fe, along U.S. 285 between Clines Corners and Santa Fe, as well as along I-40 from Clines Corners to Tijeras. This may lead to a period of slick travel on Thanksgiving morning. Locally higher amounts up to 5 inches are possible in the high terrain west of Las Vegas. Another area of light snow will impact the Continental Divide

Total snow accumulations between 8 and 14 inches, higher amounts possible near the peaks. * WHERE...White and Inyo Mountains. * WHEN...Until 10 AM PST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult at times. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will begin between 6000 to 7000 feet this morning and increase to 8000 to 9000 feet by this evening then fall to 6000 to 7000 feet again Tuesday evening through Tuesday night.

Roof damage is possible due to the weight of heavy snow.
