Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.

...HIGH RISK FOR RED FLAG CONDITIONS MONDAY THROUGH AT LEAST TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK FOR MUCH OF LOS ANGELES AND VENTURA COUNTIES... .A strong Santa Ana Wind event is expected to develop Monday and last through at least Tuesday. Humidities will lower drastically at the same time. Along with the extremely dry fuels, this will create a high risk for critical fire weather conditions and rapid fire spread with any new fires. With dry conditions lasting through Friday of next week, and additional rounds of enhanced offshore flow likely, red flag conditions are likely to continue Tuesday night through Thursday.

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 9 feet. * WHERE...North and east facing reefs of Kosrae, north facing reefs of Pohnpei. * WHEN...Until 3 AM ChST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Pulses of long-period north swell and a push in northeast trade swell are generating hazardous surf along north-facing reefs, as well as east-facing reefs of Kosrae. Northeast trade swell could remain high enough to maintain hazardous surf along east facing reefs of Kosrae and the High Surf Advisory may need to be extended.
