Relative Humidities of 25 percent or less can be expected for 4 or more hours this afternoon into the evening. Winds will be out of the north northwest at 5 to 10 MPH. With dry fuels, high fire danger conditions can be expected. Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities whether you may burn outdoors. If you do burn outside, use extreme caution.

High Surf Advisory issued December 6 at 2:48AM ChST until December 10 at 3:00PM ChST by NWS Tiyan GU

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 10 feet in the surf zone. * WHERE...North and east facing reefs of Kosrae. * WHEN...From 3 AM Friday to 3 PM ChST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A building trade-wind swell will move into Micronesia over the next few days. Surf will initially be hazardous along east facing reefs this morning, spreading to north facing reefs tonight into Saturday. Surf is expected to peak over the weekend before beginning to slowly subside early next week.
